Explanation of responses
- F1Pursuant to the 2014 Grantor Retained Annuity Trust (GRAT), of which reporting person is trustee, the remainder interest of the GRAT was distributed as a gift to the irrevocable trust for the benefit of the reporting person's children, of which the reporting person is the trustee. See footnote 2 below.
- F2These shares include 6,744 shares referenced in footnote 1 above and are held in an irrevocable trust for the benefit of the reporting persons chidren. The reporting person is trustee of this trust.
- F3Includes shares acquired through the reinvestment of dividends and dividend equivalent rights credited to the reporting person when and as dividends were paid on Motorola Solutions, Inc. common stock. A fractional share of .8587 was liquidated by the stock plan administrator upon the transfer of shares due to an administrative inability to transfer a fractional share in the account to a different brokerage account, therefore the total owned has been reduced by such amount.
- F4These shares are held in an irrevocable trust for the benefit of the reporting person's wife and children. The reporting person's wife is trustee of this trust.
