Explanation of responses
- F1Restricted stock units granted under the HollyFrontier Corporation Long-Term Incentive Plan. The restricted stock units vest in three equal annual installments beginning December 15, 2019, provided that the reporting person remains in the employ of the Issuer from the grant date through each such vesting date. The vested restricted stock units will be paid within 30 days following the vesting date in the form of the Issuer's common stock equal to the number of vested restricted stock units.

The restricted stock units vest in three equal annual installments beginning December 15, 2019, provided that the reporting person's spouse remains in the employ of the Issuer from the grant date through each such vesting date.
