- F1These shares are held solely by Dr. Gillings, who is the Executive Chairman of Quintiles Transnational Holdings Inc. and a member of a group with the GFEF Limited Partnership for purposes of Section 13(d) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended, that collectively owns more than 10% of the outstanding shares of Quintiles Transnational Holdings Inc. common stock. Dr. Gillings and GFEF Limited Partnership each disclaims beneficial ownership of the shares reported in this Form 4 except to the extent of his or its pecuniary interest therein.
