Explanation of responses
- F1Resolute Forest Products Inc. (the "Company") awarded to the reporting person 9,844 restricted stock units, each an "RSU". Each RSU represents the right to receive the economic equivalent of one share of Company common stock in cash upon settlement. In general, the RSUs will vest and settle in cash in four equal annual installments beginning on December 1, 2018 (subject to earlier settlement in certain circumstances). The reporting person settled 2,461 RSUs, which vested on December 1, 2018 for cash.
