F1Pursuant to the terms of the Severance Benefit Agreement between the Reporting Person and Archrock, Inc., vesting was accelerated for phantom units scheduled to vest within 12 months following the Reporting Person's December 31, 2015 retirement from Archrock, and any remaining phantom units were forfeited. The phantom units were awarded under the Archrock Partners, L.P. Long-Term Incentive Plan. Each phantom unit vested in the form of a common unit. The tandem Distribution Equivalent Rights were paid in cash per the terms of the award agreement. Pursuant to applicable SEC reporting requirements, the settlement of the phantom units in exchange for common units of APLP is reported on this Form 4 as a disposition of the phantom units being settled and a simultaneous acquisition of the underlying common units.
