Remarks
Reporting person served as the Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman, Corporate Development of PacWest Bancorp and PacWest Bancorp's wholly-owned banking subsidiary, Pacific Western Bank. On June 30, 2016, reporting person retired from his position as Executive Vice President and Vice Chairman, Corporate Development. As a result, the reporting person is no longer subject to Section 16 in connection with his transactions in the equity securities of PacWest Bancorp and therefore will no longer report any such transaction on Form 4 or Form 5.
