- F1Deferred common shares of beneficial interest ("Deferred Shares") were received in payment of the retainer for service as Trustee. The Deferred Shares were valued at the average closing price of the Company's common shares of beneficial interest, par value $0.01 per share ("Common Shares"), for the year ended December 31, 2015, which was $34.6233.
- F2Deferred Shares are exchangeable on a 1-for-1 basis into Common Shares.
- F3Common Shares are issuable in exchange for Deferred Shares on a 1-for-1 basis on January 31st of the year following the year in which the holder thereof ceases to serve on the Board of Trustees of LaSalle Hotel Properties.
